Rooted is designed to help people explore churches at their own pace. Your searches, saved churches, comparison lists, visit considerations, and account activity are private. They are not displayed publicly and are not shared with churches as an identifiable record of your activity.

Churches can maintain their own profile information, but they cannot see who searched for, saved, compared, or viewed their church through Rooted.

If you create an account, Rooted uses the information needed to provide your account, keep your saved choices available, protect access, and support the features you choose to use. Church representatives who claim a profile provide information needed to review their authority and manage accurate church information.

Rooted may use aggregated, non-identifying product information to understand whether tools are useful. Rooted does not create public rankings, star ratings, or church-facing dashboards that expose a seeker’s personal discovery history.

You can explore Rooted by entering an area yourself. If a future version asks for device location, Rooted will request permission through your device and explain how that location is being used before collecting it.

The Rooted native app foundation does not add advertising, cross-app tracking, or unnecessary tracking SDKs. The app uses secure HTTPS connections to load the same Rooted experience available in your browser.

You can stop using Rooted at any time. Account-management and data-request options will be provided as Rooted’s account experience expands. Do not include sensitive personal details in public church submissions, profile testimonials, or free-text fields.

Before Apple App Store or Google Play submission, Rooted will publish the operating contact and any required account-deletion instructions in this policy and in the corresponding store listings.
